Raise a Child Who Thrives 8 week parent program with Jill Castle

If you’re like most parents, you worry about your child’s health, and their happiness. Maybe it’s how they eat. Maybe it’s their relationship with food, or their body, or the battles that show up at the table every single night.

Maybe you’re noticing habits that concern you. A pattern with food that doesn’t sit right. A change in how your child talks about themselves. A body that’s growing in a way that has you asking questions.

Wherever you’re starting from, here’s what I know after 35 years of working with families: the answer isn’t a diet, a rule, or a fix for one specific behavior. It’s the environment you build at home. Get that right, and everything else, the eating, the mood, the confidence, gets easier.

That’s exactly what this program helps you do.

Signs Your Child May Need More Support

If your child…

  • has big reactions around food, mealtime, or their body
  • eats too fast, too little, or seems to never feel satisfied
  • sneaks food, hides food, or eats in secret
  • is a picky eater who limits what they’ll try
  • overeats at parties, or grazes all day without real hunger
  • gets emotional about food, or you find yourself getting emotional about how they eat
  • battles you over screens, sleep, or basic routines
  • is starting to show signs of low confidence or a strained relationship with their body

…then watching these patterns show up is likely bringing you worry, frustration, or a sense of not knowing what to do next.

Here’s the truth: you’re not a bad parent, and your child is not a bad kid. You just haven’t yet built the environment that makes healthy habits the easy, natural choice in your home. That’s what we build together.

I help parents build the home environment every child needs to grow up healthy, inside and out, without restrictive diets or damage to their self-esteem.

What a Healthy Home Environment Actually Looks Like

You haven’t figured out how to create an environment that supports your child’s health and wellbeing… yet.

An environment that…

  • models the lifestyle habits and attitudes that support real health
  • uses proven, science-backed routines instead of guesswork
  • cultivates confidence, worthiness, and a positive sense of self
  • celebrates food, movement, and bodies without shame or restriction
  • raises a child who is healthy and happy, whatever their size, temperament, or challenge

Building this environment now is a gift that keeps paying off. Your child learns how to live well as they grow, instead of having to unlearn and relearn habits as an adult.

The good news: you can do this through a “Whole Child Healthy” approach that supports your child’s health and protects their self-esteem, at the same time.

That means no diets. No pressure. No shame.

Just a home environment that makes healthy living feel easy, and genuinely enjoyable, for the whole family.

What You’ll Learn Inside Raise a Child Who Thrives

How do you actually build this? By joining my group parenting program, Raise a Child Who Thrives.

Over 8 weeks, I’ll teach you how to shape your home environment using the 8 pillars every family can lean on to raise a healthy, thriving child:

  • Family Culture — the values, traditions, and daily rhythms that hold your family together
  • Sleep — the foundation that affects mood, appetite, and everything else
  • Movement — building strength and confidence, at whatever level fits your child
  • Feeding — how you show up at the table and offer food
  • Eating — how your child relates to their own hunger, fullness, and appetite
  • Food — variety, balance, and satisfaction, without moralizing what’s on the plate
  • Screens — keeping them in their place, not in charge
  • Self-Love — the self-worth and self-esteem that carries a child through everything else

You’ll leave each week with real, practical strategies, not more information to sit on. Just an achievable next step for your specific family.

Is Raise a Child Who Thrives Right for My Child?

This program is for you if your child is…

  • a picky eater, a “picky” one week and unpredictable the next
  • overeating, sneaking food, or eating out of boredom or big feelings
  • resisting sleep routines or fighting bedtime
  • spending too much time on screens
  • skipping breakfast, snacking constantly, or eating all evening
  • fixated on food, what, when, or how much
  • showing early signs of lower self-esteem or body image struggles
  • dealing with lab values or growth patterns that concern your pediatrician
  • or anything else about their health, habits, or happiness that’s keeping you up at night

How the 8-Week Program Works

  • Raise a Child Who Thrives runs several times a year in small group cohorts. Our next cohort begins October 19, 2026.
  • We meet on Zoom on Mondays from 12 to 1 pm ET for 8 weeks. You’ll get the Zoom link at registration, and every session is recorded for the full 8 weeks in case you miss a live call.
  • I strongly recommend picking up my book, Kids Thrive at Every Size: How to Nourish Your Big, Small, or In-Between Child for a Lifetime of Health and Happiness, as your companion through the program. Amazon link and other retailers below.
